Jennifer Mack-Watkins is an award winning artist whose solo show Children of the Sun was exhibited at the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center in Vermont and was featured in the New York Times, Vogue, and Essence. She was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and her mother’s hair salon and southern upbringing influenced her artistic sensibilities. She runs her studio practice from Savannah, and Atlanta, Georgia where she lives with her two children. You Gotta Meet Mr. Pierce! is her first book.
